About Destroy All Humans! - Remake EU (Steam)

Improved gameplay mechanics and humor inspired by sci-fi flicks of the 1950s make this game a hard-to-pass-on for any genre fan. Destroy All Humans! Destroy All Humans! is a remake of the 2005 game of the same name, developed by Black Forest Games and Published by THQ Nordic. Like in the original, the player controls a Furon alien named Cryptosporidium-137, or “Crypto”, whose goal is to eradicate humanity and conquer Earth. The game is set in an open world environment, where the player can wreak havoc among the civilians and military personnel using a variety of cosmic weapons. Crypto alien can also use his powers such as telekinesis and an ability to disguise himself as a human to put his plan in motion. The remake introduces several new mechanics, including a Focus Mode, in which the player can lock onto enemies. DAH! received positive initial reception from the critics, who noted the updated gameplay mechanics and the outlandish humor inspired by the alien movies of the 1950s. Crypto returns with more genocidal action Destroy All Humans! offers the player a unique chance to play as the invading alien force, rather than the brave defenders of planet Earth. The gameplay makes use of various tropes associated with aliens’ depictions in 1950s movies, such as Crypto’s “flying saucer” spaceship, and some of the weapons he can use in combat. These include the classic Disintegration Ray and Ion Detonator, but also a self-explanatory Anal Probe and Zap-O-Matic electrocution device.
